I tried
This part of the recipe seems not to be executed:

here's what i've tried
*putting it in the dev.openembedded.org dir
*re-cloning(intead of just updating) the org.openembedded.dev git(for the
configs)
*removing part of my local.conf(inherit ipk)
*changing distro from openmoko to angstrom...
*changing from gentoo to ubuntu 8.04(created a user and mounted bind the tmpdir
to the same location)
*migrated to python 2.5 and removed all old python on gentoo
*changing things inside the recipe(that's why it split differently from the
original)
*re-checkouting bitbake

The strange thing is that it works on woglinde's machine but not mine:
