When building qt-embedded-4.4.3 the file libQtUiTools.a is not copied to the
staging environment. It appears as if the file qt_staging.inc expects the file
to have the suffix "E", as other qt-embedded libraries has. There might also be
an issue in the qt_packaging.inc, the file list for the uitools-dev package
expects the .pc file to have the "E" suffix.
