build fix patch

alsa-utils started requiring xmlto with 1.0.18 which isn't available (or
installed in a working fashion) on all build hosts. Fix this by patching the
build system to remove the (non-optional!) use of xmlto - will submit an
upstream fix for this for 1.0.20.
