[oe-users] Building uClibc on x86

Hi,

I'm trying to create a toolchain for building a uClibc based disribution
on standard x86 hardware. I have changed (vs. the sample config) the
following options (plus DL_DIR and BBFILES) in my local.conf:

MACHINE = "x86"
TARGET_OS = "linux-uclibc"
DISTRO = "generic-uclibc"
MACHINE_KERNEL_VERSION = "2.6"
IMAGE_FSTYPES = "ext2"

As is suggests in the documentation I called "bitbake nano". Everything
seems fine until it gets to uClibc then it fails with:

NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28: started
NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28-r7: task do_fetch: started
NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28-r7: task do_fetch: completed
NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28-r7: task do_unpack: started
NOTE: Unpacking

9.28/uClibc.config to
/home/martyn/openembedded/tmp/work/i486-linux-uclibc/uclibc-initial-0.9.
28-r7/
cp: cannot stat
`/home/martyn/openembedded/org.openembedded.dev/packages/uclibc/uclibc-0
.9.28/uClibc.config': No such file or directory
NOTE: Task failed:
NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28-r7: task do_unpack: failed
ERROR: TaskFailed event exception, aborting
NOTE: package uclibc-initial-0.9.28: failed
ERROR: Build of nano failed

I have looked in
/home/martyn/openembedded/org.openembedded.dev/packages/uclibc/uclibc-0.
9.28/ and no uClibc.config exists, but do in arch subdirs.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

Martyn
