Hello Michal,

Well, you ses, the situation is that OE.dev doesn't support building
Familiar images. That's due to Familiar maintainers' decision to
fork/branch Familiar OE tree off the main OE trunk (OE.dev). They
also chose not to support Familiar distro configs in OE.dev.

Also, "familiar-unstable" doesn't really relate to Familiar besides
that *some time ago* it was conceived as a base for next Familiar
version. Alas, it's not the case any longer. So, it's just a random,
unsupported distro.

So, if you want to build a Familiar distro, you really should use
Familiar tree. Otherwise, you are welcome and encouraged to try
Angstrom. While there's no general availability release yet, and it is
in unstable state, it is pretty suitable for developers' use.

Angstrom snapshot images are regularly released by Angstrom
maintainers and available at
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unstable/images/

FILES_kernel-image_hx4700 = ""

to be exact. I.e. it explicitly sets filelist to empty for the package
which otherwise should contain zImage-*. See kernel.bbclass

Just reverse that locally, and it builds file (well, one-line patch
is required somewhere).

I'm waiting for acceptance of my OPIE packages maintenance proposal to
fix that.
