[oe-users] Build not populating /lib/modules/2.6.21gum/kernel

Yet another newbie question.

I'm continuing to try to get the gumstix machine type to build
successfully. I've updated the linux/linux-gumstix package in the
distribution to build a 2.6.21 kernel.

I'm using angstrom-2007.1 as the distro and doing a "bitbake
angstrom-minimal-image" to build the image.

The build completes now without error and even sort of boots :-)

In researching the boot issues I discovered that
build/tmp/rootfs/lib/modules/2.6.21gum/kernel/ is not being populated by the
build process. As you might expect this causes a few problems. I can see
that the modules are present in
build/tmp/work/gumstix-angstrom-linux-uclibcgnueabi/linux-gumstix-2.6.21-r1/install.
They just aren't populated in the rootfs.

My guess is that the OE gumstix implementation in the tree never really
worked. Any suggestions as to what is missing in linux-gumstix-2.6.XX.bb?
Or alternatively, can someone point me to a good example of a
linux-machine-2.6.XX.bb that populates this directory correctly?

Thanks!

Steve
