[oe-users] The external toolchain could not be found

The key here is EXTERNAL toolchain I think. Have a look
in /usr/local/angstrom/i586 and see if the compiler/linker exists there.
The tool is expecting to have a tool chain at a specific location.

Hey I'm new at this too, just probing for suggestions.
