What version of GCC are you using to compile QEMU?  Last time I looked
into this, you need to use GCC3.x (not GCC 4.x).  This is typically
done by installing GCC 3.x on your system.  I think OE will
automatically use GCC 3.x if it is available, but have not tried this
lately.
