angstrom-2007.12-stable wm problems

hi,
I'm encountering several problems while building a window manager for my 
OE personalized distro.

1. the fluxbox_svn package is broken, since it tries to download using 
svn while the Fluxbox site tells "We have switch to git for fluxbox 
development [...] use the following commands: git clone"
I've solved updating the SRC_URI with "git://pathToFluxbox;protocol=git 
instead of "svn://..." in SRC_URI variable and changing S= 
"${WORKDIR}/trunk into S= "${WORKDIR}/git.
I've also added a / into the line ${sysconfidr}keylaunchrc.fluxbox, 
according with the other .bb file fluxbox_0.99+1.0rc.bb. Now all seems 
working

2. e17 doesn't build, it stops claiming for "esmart" while building 
"entrance". I tried "bitbake -c rebuild entrance" and I obtained the 
following error:
    -checking for ESMART... configure error: Package requirements 
(esmart >= 0.9.0) were not met:
             No package 'esmart' found

Any suggestion?
