using glibc from external toolchain

Hello,

how can i persuade bitbake to not build glibc itself. I would like to 
use the provided glibc from my external toolchain (as glibc won't 
compile with the sh4 target we use).

The following configuration does not seem to work...

...

ASSUME_PROVIDED += " virtual/${TARGET_PREFIX}gcc "
ASSUME_PROVIDED += " virtual/libc

...
