Problemwith autotools in gtkmm do_configure

Hi all,
I found a problem when generating gtkmm package for a mx31ads machine.

Do_configure failed with an autoconf related error, stating this:
"circular dependency of AC_LANG_COMPILER(C++)"

Looking for a fix (without real hope, though I had never used 
autotools), I found a message in autotools mail list stating that 
something similar ocurred and the cause is a bug in autoconf.

A workaround could be modify configure.in for gtkmm, using AC_PROG_CXX 
before AC_LANG_COMPILER(C++) (I'm just compiling gtkmm now with this 
workaround.

Can anyone confirm this is a bug? and tell me what is the correct way to 
solve it?
