gcc missing assembler?

sorry, I've now been able to check on my tmp and it appears that the
gcc package does not build an as executable

I've noticed an as executable in the binutils directory, maybe it is
the package you\re looking for

also, you may want to look into the task-native-sdk recipe, that
should build everything you need (and probably something more)
