Getting started

Hi There,

I'm trying to get going installing and building OE, but have failed at the first hurdle, I'm following the instructions at this page:

My build PC is running OpenSuSE 10.3, I've managed to install apt4rpm OK.

Next step was to add

"deb http://www.openembedded.org/dl/ packages/" to "/etc/apt/sources.list" and run "apt-get update"

When I do this I get the message "E: Type 'deb' is not known in on line 25 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list"

Looking at the file the other repositories are listed as 'repomd' or 'rpm' so I tried changing 'deb' to 'repomd' but that just produces a load of 404 Not Found errors.

Any ideas anyone?
