I'd like to share my experiencie with generic.conf distro and the
recent org.openembedded.stable branch (FYI).

I have gotten the following little problems:

1. Bitbake warms about bad formed URL:
NOTE: Handling BitBake files: - (1312/4981) [26
%]http://svn.projects.openmoko.org/svnroot/python-openmoko/python-gsmd:
 (Not a valid URL)

2. popt-1.7 unfetchable:
http://bugs.openembedded.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4070

3. fakeroot-1.8.1 unfetchable:
http://bugs.openembedded.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4227

4. sane-srcrevs.inc is missing in generic.conf:
http://bugs.openembedded.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4231

5. It's unable to build gconf-dbus:
http://bugs.openembedded.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4231

Once solved these problems the final generic distro image was built
with success!!

Regards.
