Hi You might want to take a look at the patches included in bug #3402 which I submitted some time ago. At that point in time, they were enough to fix OE so that I could build an external-toolchain for PPC. Of-course, they don't apply anymore, but I am sure some of them (most of them probably) are still relevant. Good luck, Esben Haabendal
