Proper Way of Creating Symbolic Links

Hi,

In short:

What is the proper way of creating symbolic links in a recipe?

In detail:

Actually I want some links in my final image, but I couldn't 
achieve install_prepend running for my images.

I'm playing with my recipes almost two days but I've not found
any suitable method which succeeds all the time. I tried to read
and modify busybox recipe, however I failed again.
