Hi All,
I have some custom hardware based on an i.mx31 CPU and currently running
WinCE5.0. I would like to port linux to this
platform ... my 1st thought was to try OE.
My question is this: Can someone give me the steps I must follow to boot up
an OE image on custom hardware.
The hardware is currently running a bootloader that can take a binary, put
it in memory at a certain address and start to execute code at an address ..
I have installed OE and have managed to build an image for the i.mx31 using
some of the sample DISTRO and MACHINE recipes ..
I don't know where in the image I need to start executing code, can anyone
help?
One I get the image running out of RAM, I can then start looking at loading
it from flash (currently usings YAFFS2 ..)
Thanks,
Bernie
