[Openembedded-users] Linux kernel defconfig usage?

Hi,

using a linux kernel recipe like [1], I'd like to use a kernel 
defconfig coming with the kernel. And not the one coming with OE.

E.g. I'd like to use a kernel configuration coming with the kernel in 
arch/arm/configs/ instead of the 'defconfig' coming with OE in 
recipes/linux/linux-<version>/<board>.

And hint how to do this?
