[Openembedded-users] how to specify that libpng12 or libjpeg8 should be included in image?

I think the packaging on .so seems to be wrong to me.
can you retry libpng with the attached patch ?

somehow you are getting libjpeg8 and libjpeg6 pulled in I suppose
run it with bitbake -g <your image> and inspect the .dot files
to find why both recipes are being built
