Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to this Mailinglist and I think my question has already
been answered but I couldn't find anything that helps me.
At first my setup:
I'm using Openembedded stable branch (2009) with the corresponding
bitbake 1.8.12.
I'm trying to build my own Distro that can run in a virtual machine. I
already did a couple of Images on a variety of machine architectures
(x86, i586-generic) like x11-image, console-image, gpe-image and so on
and they all worked quite well, but when it comes to booting the image
within virtualbox or quemu they all do expect a touchscreen. I'm not
getting any keyboard and/or mouse-support whatsoever. (Not the
console-image :-))
What I want is a simple Distro containig USB support and what else is
needed on the target system (e.g. no sound, no sata, IDE-support,
Network, ...) and a simple Window-Manager to get one Programm running at
startup.
The target machine simply is a Pentium 4 PC (with HT) and is supposed to
run a simple piece of CAD software. (RTAI-Patches required)
Can anyone please help me to set up my Distro or give me a link where
this has already been dicussed so I can get started?
Thanks
