<div class="gmail_quote"><br>Hi All,<div><br></div><div>I have some custom hardware based on an i.mx31 CPU and currently running WinCE5.0. I would like to port linux to this</div><div>platform ... my 1st thought was to try OE.</div>
<div><br></div><div>
My question is this: Can someone give me the steps I must follow to boot up an OE image on custom hardware.</div><div><br></div><div>The hardware is currently running a bootloader that can take a binary, put it in memory at a certain address and start to execute code at an address ..</div>
<div><br></div><div>I have installed OE and have managed to build an image for the i.mx31 using some of the sample DISTRO and MACHINE recipes .. <br clear="all"><br></div><div>I don't know where in the image I need to start executing code, can anyone help?</div>
<div>One I get the image running out of RAM, I can then start looking at loading it from flash (currently usings YAFFS2 ..)</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Bernie<br>-- <br>You always have believers and scepticts.. A True inventor is always a believer..<br>
