So, I guess the question becomes why. Perhaps we can test other MACHINE definitions and see if we can find one that does complete successfully. Perhaps MPC8313e-rdb, or mpc8544ds. The 8313 is e300 and the 8544 is e500 so the compiler is slightly different.
>> > I have the latest OpenEmbedded and bitbake (1.10.2) and
can set
>> > MACHINE="om-gta01" and DISTRO="angstrom-2008.1" and build
a uImage and
>> > But when I set MACHINE="mpc8323e-rdb" with the same
DISTRO, or "micro",
>> > I
>> > get an error somewhere during the build of glibc.
>> >
>> > Is there a setting I am missing? Can we build a uImage

>> > mpc8323e-rdb? Wrong DISTRO?
>> >
>>
>> You have to tell us about the error. Otherwise its nice to

>> > Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.
