OES will likely be similar to the advanced room at YPDD as I understand things. Afterall many of the ypdd talks aren’t actually specific to YP.

Something which, based on what you’re saying, presumably has been approved in the past since we’ve run this for 3 years already. I have no idea whether or not this is the case; we were merely continuing what we’ve done in past years making the assumption it was still something which people would want.

> We need a place to advertise this. I'll be sending out an email to the various OE/Yocto mailing lists (my proposed lists are: yocto at yoctoproject.org and openembedded-core at lists.openembedded.org) but the more advertising the better. I don't get the impression there will be any advertisement on the SCaLE website itself, other than to make people aware of a general "Embedded Track" occurring at the conference. Would it be possible/okay to create a page on the OE wiki about it? What about something on a Yocto page/wiki?

I'm keen to reach people who are new, and get their feedback before they learn all the "tribal knowledge". I would every much like to see future such events targeted towards core developers. But as a first attempt I'm interested in a user conference.
