Any interest in using an already-existing mechanism for maintaining,
reading, processing, and using a MAINTAINERS file (such as the one that is
used by the kernel community)? Then we could take advantage of some of the
tooling that has grown around this activity such as CCing the
maintainer/mailing-list automatically when performing a "git send-email".
