Files 720MHz.patch, and revision-detection.patch in the 
openembedded/recipes/u-boot/u-boot-git/beagleboard directory contain Windows
style new line characeters (0x0d 0x0a) that cause failure of the patch
application (and failure of the whole build) on some distros. 
For example for the same snapshot, the BeagleBoard console-image build passes
OK on Ubuntu but it fails because of this on Gentoo.
