Current Dev Position: Planning for YP 2.4

Next Deadline: YP 2.1.3 Cut off May 15, 2017 – Still TBD

Key Status/Updates:

·        YP 2.3 has been released.  See:https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/WW19_-_2017-05-02_-_Full_Test_Cycle_2.3_rc4 and: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Project_v2.3_Status#Milestone_4.2FFinal_-_Target_May_5.2C_2017

·        There were some issues discovered late in the 2.3 process which mean a fast turnaround on a 2.3.1 release is likely and some fixes were already merged to the 2.3 stable branch.

·        The master branch has moved forward and patches are starting to merge for 2.4.


Proposed upcoming dot releases:

YP 2.1.3 Cut off May 15, 2017

YP 2.1.3 Release by May 26, 2017

YP 2.2.2 Cut off May 29, 2017

YP 2.2.2 Release by June 9, 2017


Key YP 2.4 Dates are still TBD:

We will be finalizing the plans for YP 2.4 released in the next week or so.
