Well, that's strange, because disabling -finlines-visibility-hidden solely for
qpe-mt allowed me to rebuild OPIE from scratch. 
Committed in ee0a10ae2fb6f8e590f42559bdba40c8ebfb3faf .

Still going to do more testing to catch exact place where GCC misbehaves.
