i don't see how that can be accomplished without patching the configure script
either - there is no such configure option to specify which sdl-config should
be used (at least i can not find it).

an alternative without a patch would be to fix libsdl-native to create default
script name (sdl-config instead of sdl-config-native). why has it that name
anyway?
