Ok, log.do_configure seems to give a clue:

NOTE: using qmake spec in
/export/embedded/tmp/sonkei-0.0.1/staging/arm-sonkei-linux-gnueabi/qt4/mkspecs/linux-gnueabi-oe-g++,
using profiles 'pyqt.pro'
NOTE: qmake postvar substitution: 
INCLUDEPATH+=/export/embedded/tmp/sonkei-0.0.1/staging/arm-sonkei-linux-gnueabi/qt4/include/Qt
                        
INCLUDEPATH+=/export/embedded/tmp/sonkei-0.0.1/staging/arm-sonkei-linux-gnueabi/include/python2.5
                         DEFINES+=QT_NO_FPU
WARNING: Unable to generate output for:
/export/embedded/tmp/sonkei-0.0.1/work/armv5te-sonkei-linux-gnueabi/python-pyqt-4.3.3-ml0/PyQt-x11-gpl-4.3.3//Makefile 

I can't do anymore from here since I can't reproduce this problem -- you need
to find out why qmake can't generate the Makefile on your system. I suggest
using bitbake -c devshell and manually performing the commands.
