verified with Angstrom RC2.2 altboot-console-image (with upgraded altboot for
c7x0).

If altboot is installed on x11 image the issue disappear and it is possible to
wait at "insert admin password" prompt and boot.

By selecting advanced menus for tar.gz the issue reappears exactly as in bug
3517
