QT 4.1.2 does not compile with new freetype version. Using freetype 2.2.1 it
compiles but does not pass QA tests, as it tryes to install symlink to .so as
not "-dev" package.
It could be good to fix these, upgrading to 4.2.
The new version, infact, reintroduced the graphics model based on canvas and
items, present in version 3.x but missing since 4.0. The new model is a big
enhancement and uses a spatial partion index to handle thousand of items in
realtime.
