After upgrading my collie from altboot 1.0.5 to 1.0.7 of altboot
/etc/altboot-2.4.cfg is gone.

root at collie:/# ipkg files altboot-conf
Package altboot-conf (1.0.7-r0) is installed on root and has the following
files:

root at collie:/# 

Then I removed and reinstalled altboot and after that the installation appears
to be fine.

root at collie:/# ipkg files altboot-conf
Package altboot-conf (1.0.7-r0) is installed on root and has the following
files:
/etc/altboot-2.4.cfg
