About that meta part, I think my english is just too bad and I missunderstood
it. I thought it is common for this bugreport is splitted into more bugs.

The mentioned bugs needs to be fixed before this bug is able to be fixed. This
is because the power off function is software related. And there are many
reasons why it does not work. Without a starting keylaunch demon it is not
possible to have the power off function in gpe. Also if the mapping of the
keysym is wrong it will not work with the power button. The other bug (the
autoresponse one) mentions the double pressing problem. Autorepeat is off on
the gpio-keys implementation, but the problem about pressing the button and
getting 2x apm --suspend because of a missconfigured keylaunchrc may still
exist ( I was not able to check this until now)
