You can look elsewhere on bugzilla for more precise information, but in short,
I think qte-mt-static isn't supported really.

But, anyway, if you can't or don't want to followup this issue, then we can
safely close it. I'm sure someone will reopen it or open another one in case of
problems.  For me the new version works.
