Graeme,

on further investigation, you're right that its not the ohci-hcd driver by
itself. The device doesn't resume properly after hci-usb gets loaded. However
if you unload hci-usb it still doesn't resume properly. If you unload ohci-hcd
it does resume. 

So removing the ohci-hcd may not be the right way but it is the one that
currently works.
