Summary: gpe-clock installed with missing dependencies
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Distributions
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: carbonfreeze at gmail.com
QAContact: tinderbox-oe at gmx.net
gpe-clock appears to require the package "at" to function correctly. Without
at, I am unable to create alarm events. Installed gpe-clock via ipkg install
gpe-task-apps
When attempting to create an alarm event with gpe-clock, I receive the
following console output & GPE error message:
"/var/spool/at/1178132100.1-100: no such file or directory"
GPE-ERROR: Unable to set alarm
I attempted to create the aparently missing /var/spool/at directory & set
permissions to rwx for all users, however it did not resolve the issue (it
simply made the missing file error quoted above disappear from std error).
After installing "at" via ipkg, error no longer appears and alarms go off at
scheduled times.
Used Angstrom-x11-image-test-20070422-spitz.rootfs.tar.gz as install media on
machine spitz (slc-3000), fresh ipkg update;ipkg upgrade performed as of bug
report.
