Thomas,
I tried your patch today. Thanks for making progress. I built a new kernel
and angstrom-console-image and reflashed my collie.
Although the kernel now supports APM, there are still problems. When I hold
down the cancel button or type "apm --suspend", the machine blanks the screen
for a moment but the suspend fails. In the kernel log I get the following
message:
<3>Could not power down device sa11x0-udc: error 4294
Also, the halt command still fails as before: all the processes stop, but the
machine never actually switches off, and the image on the LCD begins to fade.
