Although it has briefly worked once or twice, I am currently getting an error
when I try to start bluetooth using the GPE panel applet.

stop/starting the /etc/init.d/bluetooth script does nothing.

hciconfig -a gives nothing

not sure what else to try, but I can execute simple commands if anyone has
ideas.

I have verified in Familiar 0.8.4 that I do not have faulty hardware - the
bluetooth works flawlessly under fam0.8.4

I know from previous investigation (and from the contents of
/etc/sysconfig/bluetooth that I have the CSR radio and not the Zeevo.
