It uses the libertas_cs driver.  It has downloadable firmware.

If I issue 'pccardctl eject 1' the card turns off immediately.  I can suspend
the system.  However, the system will take a very long time (60 seconds) to
resume, during which time all you see is a blinking cursor at the top left of
the screen.

Once resumed the system appears to work fine - the card comes up and the
network connection is restored.

The second time I tried this, I got a 

libertas_cs: can't load helper firmware

at the upper left corner.  Then after about 60 seconds the machine resumed OK.

This particular machine has a microdrive (sparp spitz, SL-C3100 with a 4gb
Hitachi microdrive); it looks like the resume script is trying to load the
firmware before the microdrive has had a chance to wake up.

Maybe something as simple as waiting for the drive to spin up would fix the
issue.
