In the GPE Networking Settings dialog, the 'Global' tab has a field for 'DNS
server'. Setting this to a DNS server address correctly writes an entry to
/etc/resolv.conf.

But if the device (iPaq h4350 in my case) is rebooted, the file
/etc/resolv.conf gets truncated. So I have to re-enter the DNS server address.
