Summary: Bluetooth: Second and subsequent networking
connections fail
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Openembedded
Version: Angstrom 2008.x
Platform: ARM
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P3
Component: org.openembedded.stable
AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
ReportedBy: rebirth at orcon.net.nz
I'm attempting to make an IP/bluetooth connection from an iPaq h4350 running
Angstrom to my Debian linux workstation.
The h4350 is running the x11 image with GPE.
Steps I took are:
1. click bluetooth applet icon and turn bluetooth radio on
2. click bluetooth applet icon and tap 'devices'
3. tap the icon for my linux workstation
4. tap 'connect'
The first time I do it, it works fine. I have a good IP connection to my
desktop via bluetooth.
Then, I:
1. click bluetooth applet icon and tap 'devices'
2. tap the icon for my linux workstation
3. tap 'disconnect'
4. turn the bluetooth radio off.
Then, whenever I try to re-establish the connection, I just get a very
uninformative message-box popping up which says 'Connection failed'.
I've tried executing:
/etc/init.d/bluetooth restart
but this does not help.
Workaround is to reboot the h4350 device and start back at the beginning.
