The linux kernel is released under the GPL.  Please read the terms of the
GPL and LGPL to understand and to get the answer to your question.

You have to release any modified source that's based on GPL sources, and
any source that links to GPL libraries.  You don't have to release any
source that is wholly original and / or that links only to LGPL libraries.
