as far as i can tell yes. 

libuClibc-0.9.29.so is in lib/

i also check the uclibc build directory and i can find libc.a there:

./work/cm-x270-angstrom-linux-uclibcgnueabi/uclibc-0.9.29-r29/uClibc-0.9.29/lib/libc.a

is there a why to find out why libc.a gets copied to the root
filesystem? or even better how do i tell the staging process to skip
the library archives?
