[Openembedded-users] cm-x270 kernel questions

Greetings.
I've been trying to set up a kernel with ubifs support for cm-x270w. I chose
for this linux-2.6.29, as I read that support for this board was added for
this version of the kernel, and ubifs support can be enabled in it. I used
PREFERRED_VERSION for this.
I bitbaked minimal-image-with-mtd-utils and flashed the built kernel, no
config fiddling so far. boot stopped right after uncompression, with no more
output.
This looks at least like the kernel wasn't looking to the right console
ttySX. I see also that the kernel default command line points to
ttyS1,38400. I've saw that there are differences as to how console ttySX's
are to be chosen depending on the board being cmx270W or cmx270L.
Has anyone out there found something like this, and knows which ttyS to
point to according to the board?
I know this looks like a cm-x270 support question, but well, since I am
trying to use the openembedded generated kernel, thought maybe some of you
has ran into this same problem.
Thanks in advance.
Pablo.
