I've redrafted this a little as there was an important piece missing at
the start.
Agenda 2011-02-14 meeting
-------------------------
1) Discuss/ratify OE/Yocto collaboration path. Does everyone agree with
the proposed plan? Assumed, yes but we need do discuss and document
this. I think the most documented plan out there was:
http://lists.linuxtogo.org/pipermail/openembedded-devel/2011-January/028767.html
and this still has a number of questions. We need to determine the
answers for them now. [RP]
2) Setup oe-core repo and import yocto with history but without bitbake. Decide
who will take this action item. [Koen, Khem]
3) Agree on meeting date, time and meeting lead. [Stefan]
[RP: Also need to determine meeting format and whether public]
4) Others helping the TSC, proposal from RP (sorry to be vague, I need
to confirm something about this later on Friday) [RP]
5) Discuss how we get OE metadata into the oe-core repo without loosing to much
history and credits of the original authors. [Stefan]
6) Access model for OE core and other layers [Koen]
7) OE-core mailing list? [RP]
8) Guidelines for layers, e.g. encourage distro layers or not, any
quality goals? BSPs? Commercially maintained layers? [Koen, RP]
9) Timeline for changes, e.g. OE releases, yocto milestones, etc [Koen]
10) Definition of OE core [Koen]
[RP: Versions policy?]
11) OE goals and guarantees for OE-core, which distros and machines to we recommend and 'test'? [Koen]
12) Yocto <-> Bitbake Sync - An update [RP]
13) Make tsc list more public? It already is if you know where to
look... [RP]
14) Layer handling tooling [RP]
Cheers,
Richard
