ops, it really was perl.

pushed config.sh for x86_64

now my build fails with 
| ld: C.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when
making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC

but as this is MACHINE="native" build I suspect differencies between OE and
Debian.
