There was a hack commited to allow parted to build properly, but there is a bug
in the .bb file : you need to comment out gnu-configize in do_configure() for
it to work (or else autoconf dies because of the 2.59 vs 2.61 version problem).

Also, according to this thread

autoconf CVS HEAD does not generate a fatal error anymore on version
difference, just a warning. So it might not be a big deal until the site config
problem is fixed, as long as patch can be applied on projects so that it builds
anyway.
