I've imported a set of patches from the old .oz354x branch which should have
been commited ages ago ( sorry for that ).

The modmap for SL-Cxx00 *now* looks like this:

( basically it configures the 5 softkeys on the LCD and the 5 h/w buttons. )

keycode 88 = F22
keycode 89 = F23
keycode 83 = F24
keycode 84 = F25
keycode 85 = F26
keycode 79 = F27
keycode 80 = F28
keycode 81 = F29

Could you do me a favor and re-examine your modmap in regards to the above?

Also it would be great if you could only include the changed keys in your
modmap file, not every key present on the keyboard to keep the modmap file
small.
