ok I don't know where device table is but I played around with udev: after the
mount failure message in altboot you get into the altboot console. When I start
/etc/init.d/udev start there, the SD card is mountet automatic w/o any problem.
(doesn't mount at all w/o udev) But from there I cannot boot the SD. Running
altboot from the altboot console tells my to restart in order to boot the
selection. So I tried integrating "/etc/init.d/udev start" into the sd boot
script /etc/15-bootsd-something in order to make it boot directly when I chose
3 on boot. Although udev startscript is giving two error messages about already
being ran then, the SD is then mounted after chosing 3 (boot from sd). It now
complains about the SD card being mounted read only. I would like to mess
around with this but unfortunately I don't know how to initia the SD booting
once I'm inside the console n'either have I any scripting skills :(
thanks so far, luke
