Syntax for building SVN uclibc or any other dynamic provider

Hello everyone, a couple months ago the default uClibc build was an  
SVN version.  I actually found this worked well for some of the pieces  
of OE I was building and I was wondering what syntax I would need to  
insert into my local.conf to achieve this.

I was also wondering how to pick which version of the kernel was  
compiled.  Using PREFERRED_VERSION_xxx of both virtual/kernel and  
linux were overwritten at build time by the defaults.  Is this because  
of the script loading order and the subsequent .inc loads overwrite  
what I store in local.conf?

Any insight would be appreciated.
